Serious Steel, Quiet Surroundings: MCMIX C100 Commissioned in the UK
The latest MCMIX C100 Wet Batch plant in the United Kingdom has taken its place in considerably quieter surroundings than the machinery itself might suggest.
Delivered in partnership with Danfords Limited, the plant brings a substantial wet-batch configuration to the site, built around a 2 m³ twin-shaft mixer and a 4 x 20 m³ aggregate bunker.
The installation also includes an automatic high-pressure mixer washing system, while hot-dip galvanization was specified across major aggregate handling and weighing components, including the aggregate bunker, weighing belt, transfer conveyor, cement and water weighing hoppers.
Beyond the Steelwork
The destination also shaped some less visible parts of the specification.
The electrical system incorporates dual safety contactors for isolation of the wet-batch mixer system, along with IP65 isolators at the drive motors. The control cabin was wired and prepared for integration with Practicon automation equipment.
These are not the details that dominate at first glance. The steelwork, silos and aggregate bunker take care of that.
But together, they complete a C100 configuration prepared for its place in a UK operation and delivered through our partnership with Danfords Limited.
